Target audience Demographics

Yarrow is a non-profit whos mission it is to help aliveate some of the stresses and instability of food deserts. Across the United States 23 million Americans struggle with food insecurity. Throuh research and sensus data we looked to find the communities most affected by food deserts.

Resource Audit

While there are many organizations out there to help relive hunger many stop after handing food out. They also often carry a stigma socially. Many of the experience are also sad or not uplifting for their communities they serve.

At neighborhood association meetings and through past survey information we were able to connect with community members and business owners to see what represented Mainstrasse to them.

This project seeks to make its experience welcoming and exciting for all its users. The visuals will be vibrant and freindly.

Yarrow reaches out a helpful hand to empower communities through mentorship and education on how to grow food in any circumstance.

Naming and logo

The sketching, ideating, and name-creation process draws inspiration from graffiti and the concept of building blocks.
